Doubles for Danny Mixed Doubles Tournament

Join us on Australia Day for the Doubles for Danny Tournament, a special mixed doubles event in honor of our late member and beloved coach, Danny Orchard. This tournament celebrates Danny’s legacy of passion, sportsmanship, and camaraderie in a way that brings our community together for a memorable day of tennis.

Matches will be played as 25-minute round-robin timed sets with no-deuce scoring (meaning that once the score reaches 40-all, the following point wins). Expect a minimum of 5 matches throughout the day.

Match Draws: Available at the club on the day of play only. There may be last-minute changes, so please confirm check-in times with your partner if needed.

Tournament Highlights:

• Mixed Doubles Format: Teams will compete in mixed doubles matches, following the familiar rules from our last tournament to keep things friendly, fun, and competitive.
• All Skill Levels Welcome: Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting, this tournament is open to all abilities. Danny believed in welcoming everyone, and we’re carrying on that tradition.
