Presidents Cup 2026

Join us for the annual President's Cup, a mixed teams tournament established by former Club President Ian Rayson. This special event raises valuable funds for the club while celebrating the contribution of past and present presidents, committee members, and volunteers who help make our club thrive.
The day offers a fantastic mix of competitive tennis and social connection, with players rotating through teams and partnerships throughout the event. It's a great opportunity to meet other members, play with a variety of partners, and enjoy a fun day at the club.

Event Details

• Arrival: 9:20am
• Player Briefing: 9:40am
• Play Commences: 10:00am
• Presentations: Approximately 3:00pm
• Cost: $35 per player (includes morning tea and lunch)

Format

Players will compete in three rounds of team tennis, with each round consisting of three matches. Matches are played as 20-minute timed sets using sudden-death deuce (receiver's choice). Play continues until the bell sounds, with the ball becoming dead immediately at the end of the allotted time.
Teams and pairings will change throughout the day, ensuring everyone has the chance to play with different teammates and meet fellow club members.

How to Win

The team with the highest number of match wins across the day will be crowned President's Cup champions. If teams are tied on wins, games against will be used as the tie-breaker.
